Situated in Central Pattaya we are just minutes away from the beach and all major shopping malls, we are a pub serving traditional Pub Grub along with a full Thai Menu ( that our staff will "Tone Down" to suit your palate.
We also provide great value rooms at only 700 Baht per night including breakfast, all our rooms have air con and fan, TV, DVD, tea and coffee, fridge and are of course en-suite.
Monthly rates are even better at 600 Baht per night with breakfast

Not 1, or 2 or even a few but ALL of the Volunteer Workers from the Pattaya Orphanage arrived at Tropical Bert's for the Friday Fish n Chips Special. Not only did they enjoy the meal but also the 10% discount we gave them.

Visit to Pattaya Blind School

George Barrie gives Sister Auora, Priniple of the Blind School 33, 000 Baht. This was raised by the auction of a Bobby Murdoch football shirt. Bobby, who played for Glagow Celtic was also a member of the legendery Lisbon Lions Team. With our Tropical Bert's Social Club head on we have over the years always supported the Blind School and will continue to do so.

Whilst we were preparing to visit the Blind School I had a phone call from Asia West Fine Foods who supply most of our food. They had a surplus of pork ribs and wondered if we might know of anyone who could use them. A call to the Blind School solved that problem, however some of the younger kids were a little disappointed. Whilst these children may not be able to see kindness they can certainly feel it and some of the youngsters felt Ice Cream in those cold boxes, not Ribs!!!, so come on Mathew and Charlie at Asia West how about a surplus of Ice Cream.

A very Honourable Family

Tropical Bert's were honoured recently when Simon Bowskill and his family came along for Christmas Dinner, Simon is an Ex Coldstreamer (as was his father with whom I served) and now works for the F.C.O in China. Simon's Mother was awarded the M.B.E. for her work with Mother Terresa in India, his wife Dawn was awarded the C.V.O for her work with H.M. The Queen and Simon himself was awarded the M.B.E for his actions when the Turkish Embassy was bombed in 2004.
An Honourable family indeed and I must add a great Sunday afternoon session!!

Christmas Dinner 2009
