Being an Ex military man it wasn't long before the bar was full of old military bric a brac, this was soon followed by old soldiers to match the interior!!. One thing led to another and before we knew it we were an official branch of the Royal British Legion, the only one in South East Asia.

Our Standard being blessed on Remembrance Day 2007
The Royal British Legion Chonburi Branch was formed on July 1st 2007 the same date the Legion itself was formed but that of course was in 1921. We soon had 70 members and we also soon had Ex servicemen who needed our help here in Thailand. That help was given and will carry on being given with the able help of our Welfare Officers.
Some of our members at the British Embassy Bangkok, they were of course first in line for the free booze!!
We meet every Sunday afternoon at Tropical Bert's but should you wish to contact us to join or you are in need of assistance please feel free to contact Bert by phone or pop in anytime. The details are opposite.
